In advertising class we had to shoot a food shot. I Styled the cooked and styled the food for this photo which is a first to me. I was a challenge for me to over come, and this is the result. As always T.G.I. Friday’s logo is copy write and ™ T.G.I. Fridays and respective companies.

On Saturday night I went out with a model and a few friends. The goal of the shoot was to show fear, being lost, and a little possession.  While having a tone of fashion with in the image.

There were several challenges through the process of this image. The bitter cold was one of the main challenges for this image, as the model needed blankets every time some of the other challenges arose. Lighting equipment was a struggle due to the dark and needing batteries and controlling the wind. The torches were also effected by the wind and quickly went out.

But overall the image came out pretty good considering. Thank you Annie for braving the elements.

On Tuesday I had to shoot a product or a simple object for my advertising class. I choose Starbucks for my subject. This is the result. It is based on the rewards program that they have started up. Seeing how Starbucks has no print ads that I am aware of I decided that a simple theme for this would do the job. I uitilzed their rewards program logo in which i had to recreate due to not having any vector logos of their type available. I invision this piece being used on an inner-city billboard so that way the 3-4 second billboard advertising impact rule wouldn’t have much of an effect on the smaller type in the lower right hand corner.
